Why Muzambiringa Exists
Muzambiringa is a venture-building studio based in Sierra Leone with a mission to empower Africans through building sustainable businesses, focusing on women, youth, and people with disabilities. We aim to impact various sectors, including agriculture, renewable energy, IT, and more, aligning our work with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Muzambiringa was founded on the belief that poverty should not exist in Africa. Trade, entrepreneurship, and enterprise are deeply rooted in African culture. Founded in Sierra Leone and expanded to Uganda and Zimbabwe, Muzambiringa is a Pan-African, female-founded and led venture studio established in 2020. It exists to unlock opportunities for startups, SMEs, and women-led businesses that are traditionally underfunded and overlooked.

What Muzambiringa Offers
Venture Building
A 24 month program that provides end to end business development support from ideation to growth, through The Ignition Hour program. This program is documented and will be televised to increase impact and reach. The current cohort has 5 businesses which are preparing for market.
Incubation and Acceleration
Incubation: for about 12 months, culminating in a pitch to a select group of potential investors for no less than USD100k
Acceleration: for about 12 months, culminating in a pitch to a select group of potential investors for no less than USD500k
Access to Investors
We are in the process of setting up out Investment Vehicle that aims to offer businesses a de-risking investment of at least USD25K which allows the entrepreneurs to meet the basic needs for both business and everyday living.
